Applicant will be notified in writing of acceptance of membership application by the Executive Committee.
An invoice for membership will be issued following acceptance of the application.
Annual Membership Fees
Active Membership: $35 *
Active Youth Membership $0.00
Social Membership: $25*
*Includes $5 membership fee payable to the Ithacan Historical Society
The Ithacan Historical Society is an incorporated association affiliated with the Ithacan Philanthropic Society “The Ulysses”. Membership of the Ithacan Philanthropic Society includes automatic membership of the Ithacan Historical Society.
Privacy Statement
The Ithacan Philanthropic Society (IPS) is committed to protecting the privacy of its members. All information provided to the Society will remain confidential and protected. It will be used only as outlined in the Privacy Statement on the Society’s website.
Use of photographs, digital images, video and audio recordings
On applying for membership, applicants will be asked to give their consent to the use of photographs, digital images, video and audio recordings for themselves and members of their immediate family including children under the age of 18 years for the purposes outlined below.
The IPS carries out ongoing communication and marketing activities
to communicate news and notices to members and friends of our community
to maintain a positive profile in the Ithacan community as well as the broader Greek and Australian communities
to celebrate the achievements of our Society
In doing so, photographs, digital images, video and audio recordings of members, their families and friends taken at IPS events may be used in the following ways:
Online - on the IPS website, the IPS Facebook, the eBULLETIN
Publications – including but not limited to the Odysseus newspaper, Annual Reports, books published by the IPS
Exhibitions – photographic, creative arts and historical
Promotional material –including, but not limited to, newspapers, magazines, brochures, programs.
