Welcome to the Ithacan Philanthropic Society

The Ithacan Philanthropic Society is a Greek community organisation established in Melbourne in 1916 by early immigrants from the beautiful island of Ithaca, the home of the legendary Odysseus. Our purpose is to continue with the intention of our founding fathers: to offer philanthropic support to our community in Melbourne and our ancestral home of Ithaca but also to engage our Society members through social and educational pursuits.
